3 monitor Eyefinity setup, TrackIR 5 + pro clip, Cougar HOTAS joystick, and CH Pro USB pedals. Thanks for any help you guys can give me!Ĭonfession: I'm "that guy". I'm pretty new to the game, so I'm unsure of what controls are more valuable to have. I am here asking if someone has a list of the button numbers in the program to their corresponding controller input, or an already made file or image of a recommended IL-2 controller setup. Looking at the program I can see that it has an option for multiple sets of axis, and I'm guessing that I need to map the D-pad, left stick and possibly triggers using these additional axis. Specifically the D-pad, right and left triggers, and righthand analog stick. My issue is that several buttons are not responding with their key when I map them (they just come up blank). I looked at some things online and found the joytokey program which maps keys to buttons on an xbox controller. Hello, I grabbed IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946 at the recommendation of my brother during the Steam Summer Sale and it looks like a really cool game! Sadly, I don't have a stick/throttle so instead I would like to play the game with a controller.
